Illuminating Beaufort Street with its array of dazzling colours, ‘The Corner’, an 8m long artwork designed by Lorenna Grant, brightens your path as you walk the streets of Mount Lawley.

Using Lorenna’s design, passion, creative vision, and guidance through regular visits to our factory the DENMAC Architectural Metalwork team assisted in bringing ‘The Corner’ artwork to life. The artwork was fabricated using a combination of folded & welded steel and aluminium panels fixed back to a wall recess. The main support frame was made from mild steel which was treated and painted. There were then multiple shaped and sized triangular aluminium pieces which were painted a selection of different colours, which was then arranged according to the drawing design and fixed back to the support structure to achieve the main feature of the artwork.

Once the fabrication was complete the artwork was then carefully delivered to site and installed by DENMAC using a crane and boom lift.

‘The Corner’ artwork is now colourful centre piece on an Apartment Building looking over the corner of Beaufort street in Mount Lawley.
