DENMAC were commissioned for fabrication and installation of a landscaping urban art sculpture, introducing an innovative design aesthetic to the boutique residential offering at Aurelia Residential Apartments. Since its installation in October 2018, the urban art installation has been welcomed by residents and community, becoming a notable addition to the prestigious address of 1 Harper Terrace.

Our brief was to ensure the design and installation were both delivered on schedule and to a quality expected from a Finbar development. The modern design aesthetic consists of play equipment, modern materials and balustrading, contributing a freshly innovative look and feel of the luxurious Aurelia development.

The urban art installation was designed by Perth-based visual artist Jon Tarry, whose artistic talents extend to sculptures, drawing, painting and film. Made up of 3 shade structures and a series of intertwining swirls, Tarry’s aim was to bring some artistic flair to the renowned residential project, located within a 2-minute stroll to the popular South Perth foreshore.

With a 25 metre solar heated swimming pool, games room, sauna, bar and fully equipped gym, located within one of South Perth’s premier locations, it’s no surprise that the Aurelia apartments have been attracting a great deal of interest. A range of apartments are currently available for sale, with potential buyers having the option of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom properties within a short stroll to stunning views of the CBD alongside the Swan River.
