DENMAC has been awarded a contract for $4.05M to complete the Façade, Curtain Wall, Aluminium, Windows & Glazing on the new science building at Edith Cowan University’s Joondalup campus, valued at $48 million.

The news comes off the back of a stellar year for DENMAC, after receiving Subcontractor of the Year and Subcontractor of the Year for Cladding at the 2018 MBA WA Bankwest Excellence in Construction Awards in recognition of our commitment to our projects and customers. This recent success further enforces DENMAC’s fundamental brand promise:

“No matter what it takes, DENMAC will deliver.”

A Unique Façade

The exciting new project was thoughtfully designed by Silver Thomas Hanley Architects with the façade featuring the periodic table as an acknowledgement to the scientific research and learning that will be happening within the five storey building.

The building is purpose-built to meet the safety requirements of the science laboratories that will span 2,500 sqm over two levels. It will also feature a further 3,600 sqm focused on learning and research in the cyber security industry.

ECU anticipates the project will be completed and ready for students studying science, medical or nursing courses in the first semester of 2020. Read their full announcement.
